Kayakers will paddle from Byram Beach to Shell Island, a 5-acre property owned by the trust. Naturalists will be available on both islands to discuss the numerous inhabitants of Long Island Sound.
This is an opportunity to learn from experts about the ecology and history of these coastal habitats and spot the many plants and animals that call these islands home, according to a press release.
Admission is $25 per family. Bring your own picnic lunch. There are a limited number of kayaks available to rent.
