The event will take place on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Round Hill Club in Greenwich. The doors open at 5 p.m. The annual meeting will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception.

The Greenwich Land Trust works every day to protect the community by conserving and caring for open space in the Greenwich area. It is a private, nonprofit conservation organization with over 1,400 active members. It received national accreditation status from the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, an independent program of the national Land Trust Alliance in August 2012.
The Greenwich Land Trust owns both land and land rights (known as conservation easements) acquired through donations from landowners and purchases by community partnerships and neighborhood groups. The properties are diverse and wide-ranging and are located in every part of Greenwich, from the tidal marshes of Long Island Sound to the lush woodlands of the backcountry. The Greenwich Land Trust is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and has a full-time professional staff.
