Greenwich Ladies Lunch To Honor MS Supporters

GREENWICH, Conn. — Former NBC “Today” show host Meredith Vieira and her husband, author and journalist Richard Cohen, will serve as keynote speakers and honorees next month at the Women Against Multiple Sclerosis luncheon. They are being honored for their work to raise awareness of the disease.

Vieira and Cohen have been activists and supporters of the National MS Society for years. They will be awarded the Georgina B. Davids award, presented annually to someone living with MS or to someone who has truly made a difference in the lives of others who live with MS, at the May 21 luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich. Cohen will speak about his own battle with MS at the luncheon.

A VIP meet-and-greet with Vieira and Cohen will be available at 11 a.m., followed by lunch and program sessions from noon to 1:30 p.m. The event will also include boutique shopping from 10 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. To register or to be a part of Women Against Multiple Sclerosis, visit the group’s website.
