The volunteer effort focuses on "creating opportunities for youth to donate their time," according to a press release. Each month, the town will focus on a new nonprofit organization, according to the release.

The name "30Every30" refers to the idea that "we all have 30Minutes to donate Every30 days," according to the organization's website.

This month, residents are invited to join Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei and his family at the final event for 2013 in support of Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Center, according to a release.

The event starts at 2 p.m., Nov. 23, at the Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Center at 70 Parsonage Road, Greenwich. Youth volunteers are encouraged to choose among three activities, including Bingo, creating holiday placemats and making bracelets, according to the release.

There is no cost for the event but pre-registration is required, representatives said in the release. Those looking to volunteer are asked to contact the organization's founder Michelle "Mick" Lee directly at Mick@30Every30.com.
