Greenwich Junior League Prepares For 'Celebration of Sweetness'

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Junior League of Greenwich is set for a Celebration Of Sweetness from Friday to Sunday.

The Enchanted Forest fund-raising event will be held  at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich at 1800 E. Putnam Ave. in Old Greenwich. Along with the main event, the group will also celebrate a sneak peak at the holiday bundle from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The Enchanted Forest is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The event includes complimentary admission, boutique shopping, cash bar and open bidding and "Buy it Now" options on select trees and gingerbread houses, representatives said.

Residents can purchase tickets online to take advantage of special pricing. Tickets purchased at the door will be slightly higher.

"Our weekend event includes long-standing traditions, such as decorated trees and gingerbread houses to bid on, gingerbread workshops, an enchanting playland with bouncy castles in the Holiday Playland and other fun activities, Santa’s workshop, an extensive holiday boutique, a wide range of complimentary children’s entertainment, Breakfast with Santa and a Saturday evening party with a silent auction, delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, dinner, a live band and dancing," representatives said in a press release.

The Enchanted Forest is a fund-raising event in support of the mission and projects of The Junior League of Greenwich.
