Proceeds from this popular annual event will benefit residents of Fairfield and Westchester counties who rely on the outreach health services provided by Community Health at Greenwich Hospital.
Greenwich residents Jenni Salinas and Janet Delos are heading up the volunteer committee planning the event, which will run from 7 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.
Sánchez, 38, recently opened Paloma in Stamford and is well-known as the chef/partner of the Johnny Sánchez restaurants in New Orleans and Baltimore.
A co-star of Food Network’s hit series "Chopped" and the host of Cooking Channel’s "Taco Trip," Sánchez is also the star of FOX Life’s No. 1 rated series "3 Minutos con Aarón" and the travel-food series "Motochefs."
“It is an honor to be recognized by the Greenwich Hospital community," said Sánchez. "For 30 years, the hospital has been putting together incredible events to benefit the health and well-being of Fairfield and Westchester residents and I am excited to help them raise awareness and support for these efforts."
Ponzek, with her husband Gregory Addonizio, owns Aux Délices, a favorite specialty food store for many residents of Greenwich, Darien and Westport. They also own its catering division, Aux Délices Events.
The author of four cookbooks, Ponzek’s culinary pedigree includes a seven year stint as executive chef at New York’s Montrachet Restaurant, where she earned three stars in three consecutive years from the New York Times.
