The event is open to the public and free of charge.

The expo is designed for curious public and private elementary, middle and high school students interested in summer programs, internships, and camp opportunities.

Exhibitors are slated to show materials from more than 100 summer camps, programs and internships.

Possibilities range from traditional day and sleep-away camps to ventures abroad.

There are also academic programs, sports, visual and performing arts, outdoor adventure, community service programs, computers, and special education programs available.

The expo is a good way to get questions answered or to pick up camp brochures and DVDs.

Greenwich High School PTA has sponsored SummerFare for 26 years, and it remains one of the organization's largest events.

Greenwich High School parents Tess Hollander and Renee Murphy are co-chairs for this year's version.
