GREENWICH, Conn. — Greenwich was quiet on Sunday, a day after a powerful nor'easter dumped about 15 inches of snow on the town.

The heaviest snowfall in the state came in the extreme southwestern corner of the state as the winter storm pounded the mid-Atlantic coast on Saturday.

A number of dogs enjoyed romping in the heavy snow — the first of the season — on Sunday at Tod's Point in Greenwich.
