Greenwich Girl Spends Rainy Day in Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - It wasn't raining when Autumn Kim and her friend Katie Nedder went into the movie theater, but it started pouring when they came out.

The friends just finished second grade at Parkland Elementary in Greenwich this week and came to Port Chester Thursday with Katie's mother to watch "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer" at the AMC theater."We got caught in the rain," said mother Peggy Nedder, who ran with the girls into a nearby Panera to avoid getting drenched.Showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday afternoon and evening with chances of rain on Saturday. Skies are expected to clear up Sunday with a high of 81 degrees.Autumn hopes it doesn't rain Monday because she starts orchestra camp that day and doesn't want her violin to get wet.

Fortunately for her violin, sunny skies are expected Monday.
