The Babcock committee is chaired by member Emily Cox, who was assisted by Elizabeth Masterson, Mary Shaw Halsey Marks, Libby Welch and Alexandra Cordraro.

The ladies planted the historic daffodil “Saint Keverne,” donated by the Greenwich Daffodil Society in preparation for spring.

The care and maintenance of the entrance continues to be a cherished civic project for the club since 1969 in honor of the Babcock family and their gift to the Town of Greenwich. Greenwich Garden Club played a leading role in working with the town and the Babcock family to preserve the 293 acres for protection and open space for its residents.
