Greenwich Ballet Academy Sends Three To National Competition

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Three dancers from Greenwich Ballet Academy qualified for the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York after scoring high marks at semifinals in Hartford this past weekend.

Juliette Bosco of Fairfield, Elisabeth Beyer of Rye, N.Y. and Ester Wells of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., will all represent Greenwich Ballet Academy at the finals later in April.

In addition to the student’s accomplishments, Youth America Grand Prix judges presented Yuri Vodolaga with the Outstanding Teacher's Award, accepted by him on behalf of all the Greenwich Ballet Academy’s faculty.

Youth America Grand Prix is the world’s largest student ballet scholarship competition that awards over $250,000 annually in scholarships to leading dance schools worldwide. The competition is held annually around the world and in New York City, and is open to dance students of all nationalities ages 9 to 19.
