GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Audubon Society will show two documentary films this fall on the environment and sustainable eating.

The first film “Unacceptable Levels,” will show on Oct. 10. It is a story about the chemicals that are put into our environment and eventually end up in our bodies. Filmmaker Ed Brown examines long running effects of more than 80,000 chemicals that flow through our system of commerce.

Greenwich Audubon will also show “The Slow Food Story,” and hold a potluck dinner to accompany the film. It follows the rise and spread of the ‘Slow Food’ movement – an alternative to fast food – through a biography of Carlo Petrini.  The film will be shown on Nov. 7.
