The gallery talk will focus in Wright's new exhibit of oil paintings and ink drawings that will be on display at Weir Farm National Historic Site, which is located in Wilton and Ridgefield.
Wright has been the instructor of Weir Farm's Impressionist painting workshops since 2009.
The exhibit examines the park in new ways. Wright's new oil works take the viewer from "abstract colors" to "rhythmic patterns" to "full representation, all on one canvas."
The new exhibit can be viewed through October. The visitor center is open for viewing Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wright's work has been displayed at The National Museum of Sport, the Old Town Hall Museum of Stamford, the Greenwich Historical Society and the Brooklyn Museum.
Wright attended Cooper Union in New York City, the Brooklyn Museum Art School and the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts.
Wright will also host gallery talks on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m.
There is no fee to participate in the gallery talks, but space is limited so registration is required.
