Winter has a tight grip on Greenwich, making it the right time to spread the warmth.
The Banksville Community House is hosting a coat drive Saturday, Jan. 22. Donations will go to Greenwich Neighbor to Neighbor, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of needy residents. Over 800 coats, gloves and hats were collected through clothing drives over the past year. The Neighbor to Neighbor Clothing Room provides free clothing, outerwear, shoes and accessories for families. The event is scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. at the Banksville Community House. For more information, call (203) 622-9597.
