GREENWICH, Conn. -- Dr. Shelly Skopit of Park Animal Hospital will be at Greenwich's town shelter to microchip pets on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Microchips enable pets to be identified and returned home if they are separated from you. The procedure is similar to a routine vaccination.
It costs $10 per pet. Credit cards will not be accepted.
The clinic is limited to Greenwich residents and town employees. Skopit asks that you only bring healthy pets. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers.
Greenwich Animal Control is located at 393 North St., Greenwich. Call 203-622-8299 for details.
