With Election Day in full swing, the Garden Education Center of Greenwich was taking advantage of the day off from school and was offering its annual plant sale.
The center has been holding the Election Day sale for more than 15 years. Lisa Beebe, director of horticulture, said that midterm elections are usually slow but said this year's business has been unusually slow. "On nice days, people are out doing other things," she said. "It is a diversion for kids and their parents after voting."
