Teen models showed off top designers' spring styles at Richards of Greenwich at a runway fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Alliance. Were happy to stage a really fun event that helps deserving women get breast exams and education that will ensure their health, said Breast Cancer Alliance Junior Committee teen co-chairs Isabelle Andrews, Zoe Blum, Alex Paradise and Emily Kellam.
The event, held March 6, is the Junior Committees top fundraiser, raising money to support breast cancer outreach and services for women who cannot afford treatment costs. The Breast Cancer Alliance is the fourth largest private noncorporate organization providing funds for breast cancer research in the United States. Since 2005, funds raised by the Junior Committee have been dedicated to breast cancer patients at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven.
Emcee and fashion guru Avril Graham, executive fashion and beauty editor of Harpers Bazaar, introduced the models and dispensed sage fashion advice.
