Doctor To Discuss Preventing Sports Injuries In Old Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Dr. Jordan D. Metzel will host a talk on sports injury prevention at the Perrot Memorial Library in Old Greenwich on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m.

Metzel will discuss ways to recognize and prevent the most common sports injuries that affect athletes of all ages.

He is an award-winning surgeon for the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan and Old Greenwich and is the author of Men's Health's "Athlete's Book of Home Remedies."

The discussion will take place in the Radcliffe Children's Wing of the library.
