Dine And Dance To Benefit Greenwich Hospital's Youngest Patients

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Hospital's Under the Stars dinner and dancing fundraiser this week at the Riverside Yacht Club will benefit its youngest patients.

The event, billed as a casual fundraiser, will benefit the Pediatric Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Under the Stars will be held Friday, July 12, from 7 to 11:30 p.m. at the Riverside Yacht Club, 102 Club Road.

It will include dining and dancing with live, silent and wine auctions. Night Market will provide live entertainment.

Greenwich Hospital’s Pediatric Department offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient programs to meet the health and development needs of children from birth through 21 years of age. The staff includes pediatricians, medical specialists, nutritionists, therapists, psychologists and other experts.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit accommodates newborns who require special care. As a Level III NICU, infants are monitored 24 hours per day by neonatologists, neonatal nurses and neonatal nurse practitioners using the most sophisticated and up-to-date equipment. The hospital is committed to enhancing and expanding all of its programs for newborns and children. Nearly 20,000 children were born at, treated at or admitted to Greenwich Hospital last year.

The event will honor Patricia Beirne, program director of the hospital’s Women’s and Children’s Services.
