Decorate Gingerbread Houses At Greenwich's Second Congregational Church

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Christmas season is one of color, lights, food and, of course, gingerbread houses. In Greenwich, fans of the edible holiday creations will have a chance to decorate a gingerbread house of their own.

Gingerbread house decorating will be held on Saturday at the Second Congregational Church in Greenwich at 139 E. Putnam Ave.

People can decorate pre-made gingerbread houses on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon in Fletcher Hall at the church, which is located at 139 E. Putnam Ave.

The cost is $35 per house, including decorations, such as icing and candies. 

Hot chocolate and Christmas cookies will be served as well.

Reservations are required. Houses will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
