They have formed a team of volunteers who are planning a night of Bavarian style foods and specialty beer and wine, live music, dancing, silent auction items and much more. The event begins at 7 p.m.

While new to the United Way’s Oktoberfest,Levin and McCall are active members of the Sole Sisters, the United Way’s Women’s Initiative.  This spring they served as organizers of the Sole Sisters Luncheon Patron Party.  Additionally, they co-chaired last year’s Putnam Indian Field School Auction and they have several Bruce Museum galas to their credit.

Last year, more than 300 supporters, sponsors and guests were on hand as Oktoberfest 2013 launched the United Way’s 80th year of identifying and meeting local health and human service needs.

Abigail Kirsch, the new owner of The Landing Dock, will be the event caterer.
