Chevy Chase Hosts Benefit Fashion Show At Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Comedians Chevy Chase and Christine O’Leary will be the special guest hosts for Lauren DiNardo’s Rock and Roll Couture Fashion show at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, May 1. The show begins at 7:30 and will benefit the Newtown First Responders Fund.

Guest models, including Chase’s wife Jayni, will strut the runway to support the cause. Other events including champagne tasting, cupcakes and fashion accessories begin at 6:30. Tickets are $25 and can be obtained by calling the boxing office at 203—483-5795 or through ridgefieldplayhouse.org.

DiNardo has developed a following in the musical world and the Manhattan club scene from women seeking out her custom couture work. She is launching an exclusive ready-to-wear collection called Live Music Couture available to the public. "Through her clothing, DiNardo captures her love of music and movement in an electrifying collection, which represents a fusion of sophistication and rock and roll," according to a release about the event.

Other women who are scheduled to rock the runway are Allison Stockel, executive director of the Ridgefield Plahyhouse; endurance athlete Megan Searfoss, the  creator of the “Run Like a Mother” series; photographer and model Kristen Jensen; philanthropist and Realtor Josephine Mineo; model and writer Jennifer Pappas and her daughter, Adrianna; Michelle James, New Business Development for AmeriCares; Ridgefield Fire Chief Heather Burford; Sandy Hook firefighter and EMS captain Karin Halstead; Brenda Berta, , philanthropist and wife of Dan Berta, President of Fairfield County Bank; teenage singing duo Carly & Eliza; Shari DiPaola, who works with children at the Mount Vernon City School District; WPLR/95.9 The Fox Morning show’s Megan Doll; and Dara Gottfried, VP of Gilbert Gottfried Productions.
