Bruce Museum Adds Two Fellows And Manager Of Youth And Family Programs

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Three new faces will join the Bruce Museum staff next month, filling a permanent position in the Audience Engagement and Interpretive Science Department, as well as two year-long fellowships.

Laura Stricker will join as manager of youth and family programs. Stricker was the Museum of London's early years coordinator and previously worked at the National Children's Museum in National Harbor, Md. She has a M.A. in museum and galleries in education from the University of London's Institute of Education.

Kate Dzikiewicz will be the first Paul Griswold Howes Fellow of the Bruce Museum's science department. Dzikiewicz currently serves as educational experience developer at the Smithsonian Institution and has a master's degree in zoology from North Carolina State University.

Mia Laufer is joining the museum as the 2015-2016 Zvi Grunberg Resident Fellow to work with the curatorial and educational departments. Laufer is a doctoral candidate in art history at Washington University in St. Louis. Her previous experience includes working as a curatorial assistant at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum and the Saint Louis Art Museum.
