Best-Selling Author Richard Ford Visits Greenwich Library

Ford's acclaimed new book, "Let Me Be Frank With You," is his fourth work of fiction chronicling the life of Frank Bascombe, hero of the novels "The Sportswriter," "Independence Day" and "The Lay of the Land."

Born in Mississippi, Ford received a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and an master's of fine arts degree from the University of California at Irvine. He briefly studied law, then became a sports writer and dabbled in academia before returning to write full time.

The series is open to all at no charge, but seating in the Cole Auditorium is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
