Benheim Western Civic Center Presents Youth Golf Clinics

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Youth Golf Clinics will begin at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Fridays starting March 27 for five weeks, the department of parks and recreation announced.

Join Coach John Czarnecki for an introduction to the fundamentals of golf. Become acquainted with the basics, including proper grip, stance, swing, alignment, balance, course etiquette and rules of the game.

Czarnecki holds a certified coaching permit with the state of Connecticut. He has been a golf coach at Greenwich High School since 2005.

The course is for children ages 6-10. There will be three classes each Friday, from 3:45-4:30 p.m., 4:30-5:15 p.m. and 5:15-6 p.m.

The course fee for the five-week session is $125. Registration will begin by mail only starting March 9. Walk-in registration will begin March 16 until classes are full. 

The course will be in the Bendheim Western Civic Center Gym, and field. Registration is ongoing until all classes are full.
