Be a Guitar Hero: Learn to Jam This Fall

If you ever wanted to jam like Jimi Hendrix, now is your chance. The Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center is offering fall guitar lessons for children age 8 and up as well as for adults.

The eight-week program begins Monday, Sept. 27, and goes until Nov. 22. The hourlong classes will be divided by age and experience. Children ages 8 to 14 with no experience are scheduled for 4 to 5 p.m. or 5 to 6 p.m.; returning students ages 8 to 14 are from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.; and ages 15 and up, including adults, will be 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The cost for the eight sessions is $220 per person with rentals and guitars provided for class. To register, call the center at (203) 532-1259 or visit its website .
