GREENWICH, Conn. Barbara Cornwall Pendleton, of Greenwich, died Monday, April 16, at Connecticut Health of Greenwich with family at her side. She was 87 years old and died of complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Pendleton was born Sept. 24, 1924, in New York City to the late Dr. Leon Hastings Cornwall and Elizabeth Bowe Cornwall. She worked as a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Pendleton III, of Greenwich; a son, Walter Pendleton, of Greenwich; a grandson and a niece.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Fred D. Knapp & Son Funeral Home in Greenwich. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Presbyterian Church of Old Greenwich. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Stamford.
