GREENWICH, Conn. -- The first Art of Design luncheon to benefit Greenwich's Bruce Museum will be held on Friday, April 4.

The luncheon will take place at 11 a.m. at Greenwich Country Club at 19 Doubling Road in Greenwich. The event willnfeature a panel of experts from various industries who will discuss art, design and technology.

"In an area with so much design talent across industries, I thought a panel on the intersection of art and design, and how technology is constantly impacting design innovation, would be of interest to the community,” said Advisory Chair Alyssa Keleshian Bonomo.

The guest speakers are Terry Betteridge, owner and president of Betteridge Jewelers; architect Allan Greenberg, founder Allan Greenberg Architect; David Moser, principal designer of Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers; Lauren Santo Domingo, founder Moda Operandi and contributing editor of Vogue; and fashion designer and entrepreneur Amy Similovic, founder of the clothing line Tibi. The event will be moderated by Cristin Marandino, editor of Greenwich Magazine,

“Our distinguished panel of leaders in their fields will help us understand more about the art of design,” said Bonomo, “and why, for example, some designs stop us in our tracks while others go unnoticed. It promises to be a lively, inspiring and enlightening discussion, and we hope will be a successful benefit for the Bruce.”

The benefit, co-chaired by Gretchen Bylow and Judith Wertheimer, is open to the public, and a variety of ticket levels are available for purchase.
