12-Year-Old Wunderkind Pianist To Perform At Greenwich Event

GREENWICH, Conn. --  Concert pianist Adam Jackson has performed with the highest caliber of musicians around the world and taken master classes with leading teachers from New York to Europe. In addition, he has he has participated in various international music festivals and competitions, many of which he won or placed in very highly.

And yet, he's only 13.

Now, Fairfield County residents will get a chance to hear the young wunderkind play at the Round Hill Community Church on Sunday, May 21. The event, at 4 p.m., is part of the church's “Rising Star” series. 

Jackson was born in the UK to a Polish mother and a Welsh father and began his musical studies at the tender age of 7 when his family moved from Dubai to the U.S. He now lives in Scarsdale, N.Y., and is currently the student of renowned pianist Benita Meshulam.

He will perform selections from composers such as Bach, Drozdoff, Granados, Scriabin, Liszt and several others.

Tickets are $10 for adults; students free. Concertgoers are invited to meet Jackson at a reception following the performance. Advance purchase is highly recommended by visiting www.roundhillcommunitychurch.org.
