Every Saturday, we'll post a photo of a landscape, architectural feature or object found in the Town of Greenburgh. See if you can take the challenge and name the building, street or landmark where the photo was taken.

Last week's answer was the Greenburgh Police Det. Williams Van Dorn memorial and was submitted correctly first by 331georgeh47, who had the exact location right at the pocket park on Ashford Avenue and Route 9A in Ardsley.

WPEyesNEars and jimdisney also submitted answers that hit the mark.

Bucky53 added some great background information about VanDorn, who was the also founder of the local Youth Bureau.

"I worked with him from 1961 until his retirement," Bucky53 tells us. "He lived on Ashford Avenue in Ardsley."

Great work readers. thanks Bucky53 for the biographical information.
