Greenwich Family Ushers In Spring With Farm Festival

STAMFORD, Conn. -- There was something for everyone at the Spring on the Farm Festival over the weekend at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.

Area families who came out were greeted with sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s on Sunday, along with plenty to see and do at the festival.

At Heckscher Farm, a sheep-shearing demonstration was held, and kids got to see how wool is turned into yarn. 

The event also offered lots of demonstrations, as well as face-painting. hayrides, crafts, live music, and a plant and herb sale.

Art from members of the Loft Artists Association was featured, and for sale, and area food trucks provided a wide assortment of choices.
