Have You Been To This Stamford Stunner?

STAMFORD, Conn. --  It's been hailed as having one of the greatest chicken parm sandwiches in the state by USA Today. It's also been highlighted by Zagat for its "well-prepared, enormously comforting" fare where you need to be prepared for "legendary lines."

But, with many folks away this week on their kid's spring breaks, now may be the time to try Stamford's Cafe Silvium yourself.

The family-friendly eatery is owned by brothers Nick and Vincenzo Petrafesa who pride themselves on serving recipes from their hometown of Gravina Di Puglia, Bari, Italy.

Everything on the menu is made fresh daily, and in-house, with the handmade pastas and antipasti getting top honors.

Cafe Silvium is located at 371 Shippan Avenue, (203) 324-1651, www.cafesilviumct.com/.
