Lunden, former host of "Good Morning America," underwent 16 rounds of chemotherapy followed by a lumpectomy and six weeks of radiation and is now free from cancer, People.com said.

Her memoir of her cancer journey, "Had I Known," will be published in September and can be preordered on JoanLunden.com.
