Greenwich Hospital Conducts Prostate Cancer Exams

GREENWICH, Conn. – Greenwich Hospital will conduct a two-part event in September to help men detect prostate cancer in its early stages.

The first part is a free PSA blood draw from 5:30-7 p.m. Sept. 12 or Sept. 16. Men can stop in to the Greenwich Hospital outpatient lab. No registration is required.

The second phase of the screening is free prostate exams from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Sept. 19. Men must have had the PSA blood draw. The exams will be given at the Greenwich Hospital Ambulatory Surgical Unit.

Baseball commentator and prostate cancer survivor Ed Randall will conduct his popular “Talking Baseball” discussion from 6-7 p.m. Sept. 19 in conjunction with the screening. Men can enjoy light refreshments and interactive discussion with Randall and former Major League Baseball players. Randall’s talk will be at the Greenwich Hospital's Noble Conference Center.
