GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Historical Society soon will open its doors for the annual holiday tour of the Bush-Holley House.
The event will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13 at the society’s Bush-Holley House and Vanderbilt Education Center, 39 Strickland Road, Cos Cob.
The family-oriented, candle-lit tours, led by costumed interpreters, are roughly 45 minutes long and focus on Christmas traditions as celebrated by the Bush family in the early nation period, and later by the Holley family, who were residents when the property was known as the center of the Cos Cob art colony in the early 1900s.
Live holiday music, hot chocolate, winter-themed crafts and a visit by Santa Claus will be included in the festivities.
Admission to the event is free, and no reservations are required.
