GREENWICH, Conn. -- Super Bowl Sunday is always a big day for great takeout food, so it's no surprise that Chicken Joe's and Garden Catering in Greenwich were both hopping Sunday before the big game.

"The food is awesome - the best on town," Jeff Franco said of Chicken Joe's. "Everything here is great, but it's all about the chicken - nuggets, high school special (chicken nuggets and french fries). It's all amazing."

Franco said he's a Giants fan, so he was rooting for the Seahawks, by default.

Owner Joe Marini said he would have been busier if it had been the Jets or Giants in the game.

"It would be even better," he said. "But it's still a great day for us. Most people come for the wings, six-foot wedges. Chicken cutlets are big."

Chicken Joe's has been there for 21 years, and Marini said he takes great pride in everything they do. "The customers always say it's good - I put my heart into everything I do - that's the key," he said.

Garden Catering Manager Mike Paoletta said the spot is known for three things: "Wings, nuggets and potato cones are our most popular items," he said. "We've been here 22 years, and Super Bowl Sunday is one of our biggest days -- a lot of takeout and catering, foot traffic."

"The food is great here," said Elizabeth Tubridy, who was taking home a large bag of chicken and potato cones. "It's local, fast, and the people are nice. And I don't really care much about the game -- I'm there for the company and the food. I have friends in Seattle and Boston, so I'm neutral."
