Friday, July 27

Celebrating the Olympic Games Workshops: Awards and Honors: 11 a.m. Members $4, nonmembers $6 per child. Children in grades 1 to 3 are invited to explore the museum's Olympic exhibit. Afterward, students will create their own athletic prizes. Bruce Museum, 1 Museum Drive.

Broadway Comes to Cos Cob: 2 p.m. Free. Friday's film will be "Chicago." Popcorn will be served. Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Road.

Performance Party: 7:45 p.m. $25 for nonstudents. Watch the students of Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom perform various routines. There will be an open bar, food and general dancing throughout the event. Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom, 6 Lewis St.

Saturday, July 28

National Dance Day Celebration: 9:45 a.m. Free. Join high school volunteers in learning various dance steps. Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Road.

Constellation Chronicals II: 11 a.m. Free. Hear the legends of the constellations under the starry sky of the constellation room. Grades 3 to 6. Greenwich Library, 101 W. Putnam Ave.

"Singin' In the Rain" 60th Anniversary Celebration Showings: 11 a.m, 1 p.m., 3 p.m. Free. Snacks are allowed in the community room. Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Road.

Sunday, July 29

Volvo of Stamfod Greenwich Cup Triathlon: 6:30 a.m. $89. The race includes a half-mile swim, 15-mile bike ride and 3-mile run. Tod's Point, Old Greenwich.
