2012 Island Beach 2-Mile Swim: 5 a.m. A 2-mile out and back swim from Island Beach in Greenwich. Ferry ride out and back to the island. Arch Street Teen Center 100, Arch St.

Broadway Comes To Cos Cob: 2 p.m. Free. "Sister Act" showing at summer series of films that are based-on or have inspired Broadway shows. Popcorn served or bring your own snacks. Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Road.
