Friday, Aug. 24

Broadway Comes to Cos Cob Library: 2-4 p.m. Screening of film "Ghost." Popcorn will be served. Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Road, Greenwich.  

Farewell to Summer Night Hike: 7:30-8:30 p.m. Walk trails on guided night hike of nature center's 40-acre property. Registration required. New Canaan Nature Center, 144 Oenoke Ridge.

Saturday, Aug. 25

Westport Roadrunner's Summer Series: 8 a.m. Ninth race in the 10-race series is 9.3 miles. Compo Beach, Westport. 

First Aid Class: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn basic procedures, get certified for free. Limited to 18 people. Registration required. Byram Shubert Library, 21 Mead Ave., Greenwich.

Health, Wellness and Sports Expo: 1-3 p.m. Learn about staying active and healthy. Greenwich Running Company, 2 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich. 

Around the World Performance Series — Malayisa: 2-3 p.m. Malaysian folktales and music. Stepping Stones Museum for Children, 303 West. Ave., Norwalk. 

Sunday, Aug. 26

'A Shopper's Fix': 1-9 p.m. Vendors, artists and service providers, plus a presentation by Connecticut Fashion Week. Presented by Shopping Junkie. Hilton Stamford Hotel, 1 1st Stamford Place, Stamford, CT 06902
