Arch Street "Carnaval:" 7 p.m. to midnight. A night of festive food, cocktails, dancing and an auction. Proceeds raised from the gala will go to Greenwich Teen Centers. Click here to purchase tickets . 100 Arch St. Tickets range from $150 to $25,000.
Saturday, May 11
Everything Old Is New Again: The Art of Kathleen Gilje 10 a.m. The Bruce Museum opens a new exhibit featuring the paintings of Kathleen Gilje, which re-cast famous paintings to make a social or political statement. The exhibition will run through Sept. 8. $7 adults, $6 students/seniors.
Sunday, May 12
11th Annual Ride For Greenwich Start any time between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. This annual family-friendly Mother's Day ride is open to cyclists of all ages and abilities. Cyclists can ride the 6.5-mile family track or the 1-mile beginner's track. Proceeds raised benefit Greenwich Safe Cycling. 285 Sound Beach Ave. Cost is $15 adults, $10 children 12-and-under.
