Monday, Feb. 25

The Plant Doctor Is In: 10 a.m. to noon. Back by popular demand, the Garden Education Center of Greenwich hosts a hands-on workshop on rejuvenating your terrarium or topiary. 130 Bible St. Cost is $5, plus cost of materials.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

"Stand Against Violence Effectively:" 7 p.m. The Interfaith Council of Southwestern Connecticut is partnering with the newly formed Greenwich Council on Gun Violence to sponsor its second regional “Stand Against Violence Effectively” community gathering. The evening will include a screening of "Living for 32," a film produced by Maria Cuomo Cole about Virginia Tech shooting survivor Colin Goddard, who has become an activist promoting stronger and safer gun laws. Ron Pinciaro, executive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence, will offer an update about proposed gun legislation in Connecticut, and state Sen. L. Scott Frantz will also speak. 1 W. Wednesday, Feb. 27

Gentle Healing For Baby And Child 10 a.m. The Garden Education Center welcomes master herbalist Andrea Candee, who will explain the benefits of nature's pharmacy, focusing on her book, "Gentle Healing for Baby and Child," a comprehensive guide to natural remedies for children's health issues. Book will be available for purchase. Reservations required. 130 Bible St. Cost is $25 members, $35 non-members

Thursday, Feb. 28

Boys Swimming Conference Championships 6:30 p.m. Greenwich High hosts the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference boys swimming championship.
