Arch Street "Elegante Junk" Indoor Tag Sale 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Arch Street Teen Center hosts an indoor tag sale that will feature sales on furniture, electronics, toys, sports equipment, household items, jewelry and more. Proceeds will benefit the Greenwich Teen Center. 100 Arch St. Free entry.

Greenwich Police and Vineyard Vines Present: Shop For a Cure 12 to 4 p.m. Join Greenwich Chief of Police James Heavey and Lt. Rick Cochran for a sale at Vineyard Vines on Greenwich Avenue. The store will feature 10-percent sales with 10-percent going back to the ALS Foundation in support of Greenwich Police's own Sgt. Roger Petrone, who suffers from the disease. 145 Greenwich Ave. Free entry.

Japan Society of Fairfield County Presents Japanese Short Films The Japan Society of Fairfield County will host a short film screening at the Greenwich Library. The program features two Japanese short films: "Uguisu" and "Radius Squared Times Heart" directed by Japanese film directors living in New York City. The films were screened at Japan Cine Fest at the Asia Society in 2012. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the two film directors. 101 West Putnam Ave.. Free.
