Friday, May 17

Greenwich Library Book Sale Preview Party 5 to 8 p.m. Greenwich Library will hold a preview party of its weekend book sale with an appearance by Ken Gloss, an "Antiques Roadshow" contributor. Gloss will give appraisals of your rare and old books, which participants are invited to bring. Refreshments will be served. 101 West Putnam Avenue. $100.

Saturday, May 18

Greenwich High School Presents: "Rent: School Edition" 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The Greenwich High School theater arts department presents its final two performances of the musical "Rent: School Edition." 10 Hillside Avenue. $20 for each performance.

Sunday, May 19

Breast Cancer Alliance Walk For Hope Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., walk begins at 11 a.m. Genovese (Darien) and Nicole Ewing (Darien.)  “Walk For Hope” welcomes participants of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents, and even dogs dressed in pink. Individuals are welcome to walk alone or in teams and sponsorships are available.  The morning will feature a complimentary breakfast. 359 Greenwich Avenue. $20 adults, $10 students.
