"A Fierce Green Fire: The Battle for a Living Planet" 6 p.m. The Greenwich Audubon Society hosts a screening of this independent documentary. The film shares lessons and stories from the people fighting - and succeeding – in protecting our planet’s biodiversity. Event includes a reception and a screening of the film. 613 Riversville Road. $15 adults, $5 under-21.

"Eggs-hibition: Unscrambling Their History" 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Bruce Museum presents a new exhibit exploring the the evolution of the egg, its prominent inclusion in creation myths worldwide, the complex simplicity of its design and the characteristics that have inspired artists since the dawn of humankind. 1 Museum Drive. $7 adults, $6 students/seniors, free for members.

"A Fine Line: James Kennedy & Nancy Koenigsberg" 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. An exhibit featuring paintings in mixed media on incised masonite by artist James Kennedy and intricate knotted, woven wire sculpture by artist Nancy Koenigsberg. 101 West Putnam Avenue. Free.
