Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich Annual Benefit: 6:30 p.m. Join the Bond Girls Benefit Committee, lead by co-chairs Gretchen Bylow and Camilla Love McGraw and unlock the secrets of a good party complete with cocktails, dinner and dancing to help sustain the programs it offers each child, such as tutoring, SAT preparation, computer training, swimming, hockey, art classes and more. $500. Flags Across America: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Darien native and artist Robert  Carley made it his quest to capture the American spirit by taking photographs of Old Glory in many different forms, including a chain-link fence, a pickup truck, a surfboard and a farm silo. Flags Across America celebrates the American flag with more than 40 photographic prints and a video display of 60 additional photographs. $7 adult, $6 student/senior, members and under 5 free. Saturday, Sept. 21

Late Summer Market: 2:00 p.m. Learn to make your own pickles and jams  with Chef Michael. $30 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Barcelona Greenwich, 18 W Putnam Avenue.

Richard Levine "Journeys" to Les Beaux Arts Gallery : 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. An exhibition of landscape paintings by Richard Levine, painter and photographer, whose professional career has spanned more than 30 years in the graphic arts. Sunday, Sept. 22

ONS Foundation PLAY Strong PLAY Safe 5K: 8:00 a.m. It is the first ONS Foundation PLAY Strong PLAY Safe 5K, Walk/Run and Health and Fitness Expo based at the OGRCC (Old Greenwich Riverside Civic Center, 06870), the race is a certified USA Track and Field 5k course that offers a terrific, scenic route geared for families as well as elite runners. Go Wild with the Greenwich Land Trust: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Enjoy an early fall afternoon at the scenic Greenwich Polo Field at Conyer’s Farm with tasty treats from local vendors, live music and a slew of activities the whole family can enjoy. Old favorites return – hot air balloons, Skifflers Bluegrass Band, the petting zoo and the many laughs on the mechanical bull.
