Friday, March 8
St. Catherine's Players Present "The Sound of Music:" 8 p.m. The St. Catherine's Players of St. Catherine's of Siena Church in Riverside present the first of six performances of Rogers and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music." Other performances will take place on March 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17. 4 Riverside Avenue. $20.
Saturday, March 9
Stamford St. Patrick's Day Parade Noon. Stamford's annual St. Patrick's Day parade will start on Main Street at Columbus Park, make its way down Atlantic Street, and then to Bedford Street, before finishing at Walton Place. Free.
Sunday, March 10
Famiglia Italia! Noon to 4 p.m. In conjunction with the Greenwich Historical Society exhibition "From Italy to America," families can drop in to tour the Bush-Holley House, view the exhibition at the Storehouse Gallery, make homemade pasta in the Vanderbilt Education Center and listen as storyteller Bea Crumbine reads the beloved Italian children's tale "Strega Nona." 39 Strickland Road. Cost is $10 members, $15 non-members.
