Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic Plans Auditions

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic will have auditions for new students from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Palace Theatre, 61 Atlantic St, Stamford.

Membership in the Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic provides the serious young music student with the opportunity to grow as both a person and a musician, according to a press release. All three SYAP ensembles maintain a high level of musicianship and allow for a challenging repertoire, according to a press release.

To schedule an audition, go here, and click “Schedule Your Audition” in order to submit your information.

An SYAP representative will contact you and secure a slot for you during the audition day. Returning students reaudition for the chance to move up (once admitted to a certain orchestra, students cannot be moved down). Anyone who has not succeeded in joining the group may reaudition in the next cycle, according to a press release.
