In addition, the symphony will perform living composer Philip Glass’ Symphony No. 3.

The unfinished work of Mozart’s Requiem long has been the subject of myths and rumors. In fact, it proved to be enough material to make into the Hollywood blockbuster Amadeus.

The Stamford Symphony will welcome back the Greenwich Choral Society, led by Music Director and Conductor Paul F. Mueller. In past years, the Choral Society has performed in New York City at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Carnegie Hall, St. Thomas Church and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

Glass' Symphony No. 3 is a hypnotic work for string instruments composed in 1994.

As a living composer, Philip Glass is considered one of the “founders” of minimalism.
