GREENWICH, Conn. – Enjoy a celebration of winter with music and performances at the St. Catherine of Siena Church in the Greenwich neighborhood of Riverside on Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Amid the frosty winds of winter, enter a refuge bathed in candlelight, bedecked with evergreens, wreaths, and the sound of voices, drums, strings and trumpets, calling you to solace and rejoicing in tidings of comfort and joy. The program includes Vivaldi’s L’inverno, winter,from The Four Seasons featuring Maria Conti, violin, and Mark Kaczmarczyk, harpsichordist; Corelli's Concerto Grosso No. 8 for string orchestra, selections from Handel's Messiah, Franz Biebl's Ave Maria and exquisite arrangements of your favorite carols for choir and orchestra. Acclaimed for his "excellent performances," by Chamber Music America Magazine, the performance will be conducted by Mark Kaczmarczyk, director of music and the arts.

Join the glorious celebration of the winter season on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Ave., Riverside.
