Norwalk Man Arrested in Triple Shooting

NORWALK, Conn. – A Norwalk man has been arrested in the Aug. 29 shootings on North Taylor Avenue, Norwalk Police Sgt. Marc Lepore said. Christopher "Junie" Entzminger-Joyner, 20, of 42 Taylor Ave., was arrested at 1 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant. He was charged with three counts of first-degree assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm and three counts of reckless endangerment. He was held on $200,000 bond.

Three people were shot in the incident, which took place at about 11:30 p.m. on the street. "It looked like it started out as a fight and it went bad," Norwalk Police Chief Harry Rilling said the day afterward. He said that a group of people had been fighting throughout the evening. "We're kind of investigating whether there's a connection between those fights and the shooting," he said.

Lepore said an intensive investigation led to the arrest. Two victims were treated and released from Norwalk Hospital. The other victim was in more serious condition and was held at Stamford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
